Mike and Hughes are here to discuss why there is no Grindbin episode this week and go through some more reviews from everyone's favorite critic. A new episode is coming next week!
Chris and Mike discuss a true Grindhouse classic - 1974's Gator Bait. Claudia Jennings stars in a story of revenge set in the Louisiana Swamps. The story behind this movie is almost better than the film itself.
Chris and Mike discuss a movie that a lot of the starring actors hoped would be forgotten. Johnny Depp, Rob Morrow, and Hector Elizondo find themselves on an island vacation where all sorts of hijinks ensue. This is a movie that seems like it was written on a set of cocktail napkins and hastily put together so the producers could take a vacation at the same time they are "working".

Chris and Mike delve deeper into their last film: 1990 The Bronx Warriors (1982) and answer listener questions and comments from the latest episode - including what apocalypse gang they would join. Mike recommends a recent Fulci film he watched and discusses why all Italian films used to be dubbed. To end the show Chris and Mike read some more Sick Reviews.

Chris and Mike dive into a listener request, 1990: The Bronx Warriors - one of many Italian post-apocalyptic grindhouse action films made in the 1980's as a response to movies like The Road Warrior and Escape From New York. What sets Bronx Warriors apart from the rest is it's bizarre fascination of mixing a post-apocalyptic setting with a West-Side-Story-esque gangs; complete with painted faces, matching outfits, and choreographed dance routines. This film is also the last one filmed before Vic Morrow's unfortunate demise.
Chris and Mike present their first episode of the mini bin. A smaller version of the Grindbin where we present missed facts from our past episode, reveal the movie for the next episode, respond to questions from listeners, and have various running features: such as Grind-dating, Sick Review Corner, and more!
Blairvember rolls on as Chris and Mike discuss 1983's Chained Heat. Linda Blair finds herself behind bars after killing a man (by accident) in what can only be described as the worst prison of all time. Murders, drugs, rapes, and that's all before lunch! Can Linda serve her 18 month sentence in peace, or will she just make things worse for herself?
Mike is joined by Hughes (from the Dolemite episode) to discuss the 1983 "classic" Joysticks. Do kids in the 80s spend too much time playing with their Joysticks? Did Disney get a name from the Lion King from this movie? Why would Joe Don Baker star in this film? All these questions and more are answered on this week's episode of The Grindbin.
Chris and Mike kick their way through the "action-packed" straight-to-video classic Lost Faith - one of the only Kung Fu movies to feature religious overtones. Steve Nakota is having a very very bad day - his TV is broken, the cable is out, the car broke down and to top it all off, his wife has now gone missing. Will Steve find his missing wife? Will he accept the Lord back in his life? All these questions and more are answered on this week's episode of Grindbin.
How do you make a movie that attempts to be a female empowerment message yet sets women's rights back 50 years? Just ask 1973's Superchick! In this episode Chris and Mike break down yet another Crown International classic.
Tara B True is a real special kind of lady, a super kind of lady if you will. She gets to travel the US as a flight attendant, she sleeps with a new man in every city, and she learns karate; boy the things women could achieve in the early 1970's! And to think they complained about not voting just a few decades before, just look at how far they've come.
And how does this film relate the Reagan White House? Load up this episode and find out.
The Van (1977) is a great starting point for the world of exploitation and grindhouse films. It is a movie (like many of these films) that exists within it's own universe. A world in which hookers roam pizza parlors, drinking while driving is not only celebrated but encouraged, and a world in which the word "no" is just a suggestion.
