Welcome to the Grindbin Holiday Spectacular where Chris and Mike break down the 1989 classic Elves starring the one and only Dan "Grizzly Adams" Haggerty. When young woman finds she is the target of an evil Nazi plot to create the master race through selective breeding she turns to the only man who can help her; Santa.

Chris and Mike dive into listener request month with the 1974 classic Savage Sisters. A request from listener and friend of the show Shawn. When a corrupt general plans on smuggling a million dollars off a "banana republic" island the local criminal factions scheme to get their hands on it. If you want to request a movie for the next listener request month simply rate and review this show 5 stars in Itunes or any podcasting app and send us your request.

Chris and Mike pull up to Joe's Super Duper to fill up their tanks in a movie brimming with gas-related puns in 1979's Gas Pump Girls. When June's Uncle Joe suffers a heart attack she decides to get her friends together to save his service station the only way she knows how - which doesn't leave much to the imagination. This movie has everything: a musical number, time traveling greasers, every sex pun you can think of, and more!

Nov 30, 2016

Chris and Mike wrap up Blairvember with a hidden treasure in Linda's filmography, 1987's direct-to-video action film Nightforce. When her friend is kidnapped by a Central American drug cartel Linda enlists the help of her friends to go do something about it; because as the tagline says, " Some People Give a Damn!" We also have an appearance from a very special guest in this episode!

Nov 23, 2016

Blairvember continues with the 1981 slasher flick Hell Night - directed by Grindbin all-star Tom DeSimone. Four college pledges are forced to spend the night in a haunted mansion and find themselves stalked by a not-so-mysterious killer. Will Linda survive? Will she talk loud enough so we can understand her? Did Tom DeSimone learn not to include boom mics in the shots? The answer to these questions and more are answered on this episode of the Grindbin.

Here we are friends, week three of Blairvember. Five straight weeks of Linda Blair movies on the Grindbin. This week we have a real... well it's a movie beloved by many but your hosts might not share those sentiments. Chris and Mike try and cover a movie they simply cannot stand, will they make it through the episode? Will Blairvember continue on? Will Linda actually make an appearance on this show?! All this and more on this week's episode of The Grindbin.

Nov 9, 2016

Blairvember rolls on as Chris and Mike discuss 1983's Chained Heat. Linda Blair finds herself behind bars after killing a man (by accident) in what can only be described as the worst prison of all time. Murders, drugs, rapes, and that's all before lunch! Can Linda serve her 18 month sentence in peace, or will she just make things worse for herself?

Nov 2, 2016

Welcome to the first week of Blairvember, five whole weeks of Linda Blair movies on the Grindbin. In our first episode we start with the 1970's "classic" Roller Boogie. Molly Osborne joins Chris and Mike to discuss a movie which decides to literally change it's mind and start again about half way through. Rollerpocalypses, attempted sexual assaults, characters named Bobby, this movie has it all; and more!

Oct 26, 2016

Welcome to the Grindbin Halloween Spectacular where Chris and Mike subject themselves to real life terror by forcing themselves to watch Chester Novell Turner's "Tales From the Quadead Zone". If you've listened to the Black Devil Doll from Hell episode of our podcast you'll be very familiar with Chester's work and how much Chris and Mike love it. Quadead Zone is one of the strangest, most incoherent, but fascinating movies ever made.

Oct 19, 2016

Chris and Mike uncover a real hidden gem from the late 80's. A legless woman, an ET-equse sexual assault, a demon cat, a father daughter love triangle and it's all wrapped within a giant commercial for Diet Coke. It's 1988's The Kiss.

Oct 12, 2016

Chris and Mike dive into a listener request this week with 1982's The Last American Virgin. A movie that starts as a sex romp and ends with a hard slap in the face of reality. Gary has an unhealthy obsession with Karen (the new girl in town). Will his stalker ways get her to finally love him or will he simply hang himself in his parent's garage? All this and more on this episode of the Grindbin. Thanks to Kevin who rated and reviewed this show on Itunes - which means he got his movie request to the top of the list.

Oct 5, 2016

Chris and Mike stumble upon a movie that features the work of two Academy Award winners at arguably the lowest moments of their careers. You probably have never heard of Catch The Heat and while I'm sure some people involved in the production would rather it remained that way, this is a movie that has an incredibly weird and interesting backstory. Everything goes wrong when an FBI agent has to go undercover as a Tango dancer with a terribly racist Chinese accent to catch a drug kingpin. If that sounds insane it's because it is.

Sep 28, 2016

Chris and Mike attempt to decipher one of the craziest movies ever made. Is it a sex comedy? Is it a slasher movie? Is it a love story? Is it a movie? The Roommates is truly a one-of-a-kind film and a real special oddity in the world of exploitation film. Five young ladies decide to spend their summer vacation in Lake Arrowhead and their lives will never be the same - or maybe they will; we simply don't know.

Sep 22, 2016

Chris and Mike are back in the old Crown International trash bin to uncover a real hidden gem, 1974's Policewomen. It has everything you could ever want and expect from a Crown film: a bad sex scene, karate, a woman doing a job men think she's unqualified for, and of course lots and lots of back.

Sep 14, 2016

Chris and Mike delve into a movie that has connections to a number of past episodes. On this show we are dubbing the "grindbin all stars" a slew of actors from other movies we've covered converge to create one steaming pile of terribleness. Is it really that bad? You'll have to listen to find out.

Sep 7, 2016

Chris Mann returns to cover one of the biggest cult classics of all time, 1987's Miami Connection. The good people over at Drafthouse Films have brought this movie back from the dead and if you've never seen this film before and you're a fan of cult cinema you MUST go watch it. Featuring an amazing soundtrack, 5 minute taekwondo demonstrations, and some of the "best" acting to ever grace the silver screen, Miami Connection is a rare treat that is truly a one-of-a-kind experience.

Aug 31, 2016

Mike is joined once again by Chris Hughes for one last show until Chris Mann returns to the show to discuss a "classic" Crown International Picture: Tomboy. Tommy is a woman who has a gift for cars - fixing them, driving them, and even building them - but everyone around her thinks that perm stands in the way of her success and she'd be better off putting on an apron. How does Crown handle a situation like this? Listen and find out.

Aug 24, 2016

Mike is joined by Hughes (from the Dolemite episode) to discuss the 1983 "classic" Joysticks. Do kids in the 80s spend too much time playing with their Joysticks? Did Disney get a name from the Lion King from this movie? Why would Joe Don Baker star in this film? All these questions and more are answered on this week's episode of The Grindbin.

Aug 19, 2016

While Chris is away on tour Mike is joined by Corey G from the 1980's Movie Graveyard podcast to cover a direct-to-video action movie with one of the most unique pairings: Roddy Piper and Billy Blanks (Yes, Tae Bo Billy Blanks). Does Billy love his sister a little too much? Is Roddy the worst cop of all time? Find out on this episode of Grindbin.

Aug 12, 2016

Mike is joined by a special guest co-host Chris Hughes to break down one of the greatest - if not the greatest - Blaxploitation films of all time, Dolemite (1975). Rudy Ray Moore stars as Dolemite, a pimp who is released from jail to stop a rival gang leader Willie Green from selling guns drugs to the neighborhood kids. This film features everything: comedy, music, horribly choreographed fight scenes; it's got it all.

Aug 1, 2016

Chris and Mike sit down for an interview with independent filmmaker Paul McAlarney to talk about his completed films, future projects and film making in general.

You can find Paul's first feature "Honky Holocaust" on Troma Now - Troma Entertainment's streaming service - and coming soon on Blu-ray.  You can see The Ungovernable Force on the festival circuit and Paul's other films can be found on YouTube and Vimeo.

Jul 29, 2016

Chris and Mike are joined by Corey G of the 1980's Movie Graveyard Podcast to discuss one of the most racist and offensive movies of all time, Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects. Charles Bronson stars in a movie only a War World II vet could sympathize with as he wreaks havoc on the Japanese community of Los Angeles in the late 80's. A true hidden classic among the later Bronson films and the last pairing with his favorite director J. Lee Thompson, Kinjite is a very special type of bad film.

Jul 21, 2016

Chris and Mike welcome Shahab Zargari onto the show for a special interview before the Comic Con screening of his short film - Philip K. Dick's, "The Crystal Crypt".

Jul 20, 2016

Chris and Mike kick their way through the "action-packed" straight-to-video classic Lost Faith - one of the only Kung Fu movies to feature religious overtones. Steve Nakota is having a very very bad day - his TV is broken, the cable is out, the car broke down and to top it all off, his wife has now gone missing. Will Steve find his missing wife? Will he accept the Lord back in his life? All these questions and more are answered on this week's episode of Grindbin.

Jul 12, 2016

Chris and Mike take a request for this week's episode from a great friend of the show all the way from Australia - David. Lunch Wagon (1981) is less about three girls owning a lunch truck and more about an hour and a half fight over a parking spot. Delving into personal stories about Dom Deluise, Prince Fielder, Dennis Hopper and much more Chris and Mike nearly lose their minds in the most bizarre episode of Grindbin yet as they try and make sense of a movie that shouldn't be as complicated as it is. Did we mention that someone involved in this film won an Oscar?
